Run in the Mornings

I love running. The feeling I get in the morning when I tie up my shoes laces and start my warm up is incredible. It almost feels like a new beginning. Paul Tergat, the famous marathoner said - Ask yourself "Can I give more?" - the Answer is usually "YES". I have often pondered why I run ? what motivates me to put on my shoes.. fitness ofcourse, but I love the feel of hair, I love whizzing past people.

I normally run in Borivali National Park and the curves and rounds that go around remind me of a poem by T S Eliot - Streets that go on like a tedious argument.

There is only one bug - People are so loud even at 6 in the morning. It seems we are most scared of silence. The moment we see silent space - we want to fill it up with noise - chatter , music, radio... Why is it so impossible to hold on to thought, to quiet, to repose in nature ?
